Hokie Storm Chasers 2012
Visit the Hokie Storm Chasers' blog to stay updated on their progress and catch a piece of the action—all in the name of hands-on learning in Virginia Tech's geography department. VOTE FOR "LOST COMMUNITIES OF VIRGINIA" TO WIN A PEOPLE'S CHOICE AWARD

"Lost Communities of Virginia"
"Lost Communities of Virginia," a book project of Virginia Tech's Community Design Assistance Center, has been selected as a finalist for The People's Choice Awards.
Selected by an independent panel of judges, five finalists comprise the nonfiction group.

From May 14 to June 29, the general public may vote online or via ballot boxes in various locations, and the winners will be announced at the 15th Annual Library of Virginia Literary Awards celebration on Oct. 20. Vote at www.lva.virginia.gov/public/litawards/vote.asp.
